Quaff.com.au (Quaff) is committed to protecting the privacy of personal information it handles. Personal information is information which directly or indirectly identifies a person.
This privacy statement observes the ten Information Privacy Principles (IPP's) which make up the practical core of the Australian State Information Privacy Acts.
Privacy
Quaff respects the privacy of it's subscribers and is committed to protecting personal information. This document sets out our policies on collection, storage, use and disclosure of personal information.
Collection
Quaff collects names and contact details of subscribers to our on-line newsletters, so that we can service those subscribers.
Further, visitors to the Quaff site may have their server address, domain name, the date and time of visit to this site and the pages viewed recorded. This information is used for statistical and web site development purposes only. It is not retained in a form which would enable an individual to be identified.
Use and disclosure
Quaff will not collect information unless it is necessary to perform it's operational functions. It will not use or disclose personal information about an individual for a purpose other than that for which it was collected unless such use or disclosure would be reasonably expected or has been expressly authorised by the individual concerned.
Data Security
Quaff will ensure security of personal information by limiting access to authorised persons only.
Access and Correction
Subscribers and relevant Quaff administration representatives will have access to and the ability to correct a subscriber's personal information.
Sensitive Information
Quaff will not collect sensitive information without the consent of the individual concerned.
