It consistently comes up well in my tastings and, at a time when it seems to be getting harder to find excellent wines under $15, this is a superstar. With the 2010 Shiraz Viognier, winemaker Andy La Nauze, brings out some floral and lychee aromatics, ripe blackberry, dark plum and mocca flavours, silky smooth texture and neatly balanced oak and tannins. It's approachable and, therefore easy to drink, yet has concentration, power and depth of flavour. The 2010 Yalumba 'Y Series' Shiraz is also warmly recommended.</p>
